Does that just mean you can't use a q that's for a free item, or that you can't get an item free with q's? Do they allow overage?

I'm sorry, I should have made myself clear. The only coupon that you can't use is for a free item. As long as a purchase is required, you are ok.

I don't shop at Food 4 Less often (even though they do have fantastic deals that I miss). So I had to call CS for coupon policy, if your product is .58 and you have .75 cents off, have fun! I would just make sure you owe something at the end or $0.

I was told they would not take printed internet coupons at my local Food 4 Less. I bought 4-5 items and they were bagged so I just paid full price :(
