Which Homeland do you visit regularly?
Which town?
What is their coupon policy?
My answers:
I visit the one in Tulsa, @ 31st and Harvard.
They have recently stopped doubling coupons that remotely say 'DND' and I was told that I can only do three transactions per day.
Hopefully this survey will help all of us figure the best HL's to frequent!

Which Homeland do you visit regularly? Homeland #169 - Ardmore
Which town? Ardmore
What is their coupon policy? Takes printed coupons (must be good quality), doubles to $1, doubles any coupon $1 & under even with DND as long as it is a 5, I have done 10+ transactions in one day and still was able to do more

Which Homeland do you visit regularly? 31st/Harvard
Which town? Tulsa, OK
What is their coupon policy? Double up to $1 Q's, take printables up to $1 and will double them, and the front end manager recently told me they are going to start making us do a transaction, take it out to the car and then come in to do another. She said that technically it is their policy, but that's been a few weeks and so far they haven't enforced it. I think it kind of depends on who checks you out.

I have not had any problems with Qs yet, I generally only do two transactions at a time and sometimes both DH and I do one, in 2 different lines. But I hope they don't get mean about the whole thing. I live in Owasso and I think that is the closest one to me. Does any one shop at food paramid(they double up to .50)? Reasors?

Mrsgrizzle- I was told the EXACT same thing a few weeks ago.
I believe the transaction thing is just a 'rule' that no one's been enforcing- but the 31st one seems to think they need to!
Has anyone else tried any of the other Homelands in the surrounding Tulsa area and would like to report back?

31st & Harvard, Sand Springs as well. I like the Prattville store better - less hassle when using coupons than Harvard Store. They let you do 4 transactions at a time without any fuss unless its really busy. They do not like internet coupons though.

I also go to 31st and Harvard in Tulsa. I hadn't heard about the limiting transactions yet! I was there Sunday, and did 6 w/o a hassle. Those of you that shop at 31st and were told this, who was it? I always try to go to Lorie - she is awesome!

:wavehi: I'm from Coweta.
I visit 31st and Harvard, Tulsa, and Catoosa.
I only shopped each store once. 31st seemed more coupon friendly, but the gal who checked me out was NOT a friendly cashier, and seemed to have an attitude about the amount of coupons I used. I did have a Q for every item. :giggle2:
My understanding of their policy is the same as others have posted above, although they did ask that I go out to my car with my first purchase and come back in.
I did ask the on-duty manager what their coupon policy was before I started shopping, since this was my first trip there. She said nothing :rolleyes24: about the "no multiple transactions" rule. I found that out after I had a buggie full of items to purchase in multiple transactions. :hectic1:
I didn't say anything though, I just parked my buggie, got another and seperated the items into two transactions. I left one parked at the front, while I went to my car. No one said anything about it. :hysterical:

I believe the Sand Springs and Prattville stores are one in the same. It's the one on 41st. and Hwy 97. The store is technically in both (township? of Prattville, but within SS city limits). I shop at this one, usually in the late evening after the kids are in bed. I don't do a ton of shopping there (read:no cart fulls), but I have never had any issues there. They did tell me that would would only double one 'like' coupon per transaction, but I think that is par for the course as far a Homeland goes.

Like I said - it's hit or miss. Mr. O'Dell has never personally said anything about limiting our transactions, but it was the front end manager who said something. She was nothing but nice about it, they are never ugly about it, just informing me. I told her I have no problems playing by the rules when I know what they are and equally applied, but so far I have not seen any signs or across the board changes. I have limited myself more, but depending on who is checking, I might still do 2-3 small transactions. I always shop at night when the place is nearly empty, and I ALWAYS let people go in between transactions and return to the back of the line. I don't see the point in going outside.

Which Homeland do you visit regularly? Duncan or Chickasha
Which town? There is only 1 in each town. I live in Duncan, work in Chickasha
What is their coupon policy? They both seem fine with internet printables. I have only had 1 coupon **** at Chickasha not double a DND. I don't do more than 2 transactions at a time because I am afraid they will start to hate me. Sometimes I go at lunch, then after work, so maybe 4 a day.

Newbie here...
The last week or so I have started going to the Homeland in Catoosa. The last trip I tried a couple of transactions and the guy that looked like the mangaer told me their policy was one like coupon per customer per day.:frown:
Well, next time I guess I'll have to take dh or have a big variety of coupons that it will be worth my trip.

I LIVE in Catoosa and drive to the 31st/Harvard store because of the problems I've had in Catoosa - I spoke with Corporate and had them EMAIL me their entire coupon policy and it only states "One transaction PER visit" - to me, a trip to my car and back into the store is a SEPARATE visit to the store.
One time, one of the cashiers at the Catoosa store pretended to be a manager and starting calling me a thief - telling me he believed it was immoral to use coupons and that their corporate lawyers wouldn't ALLOW me to do more than one transaction. Needless to say, I sent a NASTY letter - referencing my own attorney and the fact that I would be allowed to walk in and pay full price and buy the entire store but because I was using coupons, I was being limited. I haven't SEEN that cashier since the incident, and I hope they "handled" the situation. That store is dirtier, undereducated about their own policy, and flat-out RUDE - I make the drive :-)

Which Homeland do you visit regularly?
The one that would be most convenient (104th and S. Penn OKC) is least coupon friendly. The one I visit the most because they are coupon friendly is the one at I-240 and May.
Which town? OKC
What is their coupon policy? 104th and Penn no IP's except smart source (which they always inspect very closely), and only one transaction per day. They are very strict with coupons. The one at 240 and May allows all IP's and doesn't give me a hard time about them. I haven't tried to split transactions, I just go in all the time :wink7:.

HI! I shop at the Guthrie Homeland. They have been fine. I usually only have 1 or 2 transactions. But if you'al are doing lots of transactions you must be getting great deals. What kind of deals. I really haven't seen to much. Maybe because I know my store won't double DND so I don't look at those coupons. But tell me some products that maybe I'm just missing. Like I know I can always get my bandaids free, and pert plus. But I can't think of anything else right now.
Thanks from

I go to 4 stores... loL!
NW Expressway and MacArthur in OKC - OK store, seems old and a bit dirty, one cashier in particular is a PITA, he's always trying to act like the coupon police.
122nd and Rockwell in OKC - used to be nice with coupons, and I was able to do 2 transactions back to back, but they told me I could only do 1 transaction PER DAY. Whatever, I told them I'd just shop at another store then. LOL
I-40 and Czech Hall in Yukon - Very coupon friendly and very clean. Set up like the old Albertson's so I always have trouble finding things. The ladies working the registers wanted to know where I get all my coupons because they never get that many! LOL! Only did 1 transaction though, but they were older ladies and I don't think they would've cared, but would be more interested in seeing how much I saved!
I-40 and Mustang in Yukon. Same as the Expressway HL, old and a bit dirty. It's where I first began the obsession with HL and trying to get stuff free. Always have a special place in my heart !! LOL!
I did b2b transactions Weds at Expressway, they didn't say a word about it and the policy is posted on the front of the register too. Some cashiers just don't care. She asked where I got my Q from, and when I told her the HL website, she was shocked and said she didn't even know they had a website. I think when you get a cart full of groceries adn pay less than $1, some cashiers think it's stealing and some think it's pretty awesome and want to know how it's done!!!

I shop at the Homeland store in Haysville, KS. They will double up to (5) like coupons per order. I have never tried to do multiple transactions. Printable coupons are always accepted if they scan. The biggest problem is finding advertised or coupon items in stock. I got ten boxes of FREE Ronzoni Smart Taste Spagetti today, using the $1/2 coupons. Four free cans of Campbells Cream of Chicken soup using two of the $1/2 printable coupons, two six-packs of the small cans of V-8 using two $1/1 printables for .99 each, and four boxes of the Snickers Ice Cream bars for $1.00 each.

I also go to the Haysville, KS store. I've never had any problems with IP's or insert q's. It is a limit of 5 like q's, and have never done multiple transactions. I have gone back later the same day, though. :wink7:
We went yesterday, and I used to $20 GC that I got for transfering my son's prescription, and I bought the 10 items for the $25 MIR GC. OOP = $9.70 and then the $25 MIR after that!!! :BigHand: Got $80 worth of stuff for less than $10! I was happy! I can't wait to get the $25 and see how long I can make it last! :hysterical:
I did go last week with some Ronzoni Bistro $1/1 q's. The ad said 99 cents, so I was super stoked for the overage. Well, the shelf said $1.69, so I took the ad up with me and showed it to the girl at checkout. They said that their policy is to go off the SHELF PRICE!!! WHAT?!?!?! I've never heard of such a thing. It's in the ad that way, and that's a big part of why I came to your store. That, my friend, is false advertising. They gave it to me... but would not take my Q because it was over the value of the item. Grrrrr I guess I can keep my q's for when it's REALLY on sale. :rolleyes24:
I saw that same checkout girl yesterday, and I purposefully went to the other, longer line. :whistle67:

I live in Moore, OK and visit the store in Norman, OK- there is a closer store on 104th & Penn in OKC but their policy is try to make life as miserable as possible for couponers- check with the FBI over every IP, no multiple transactions, complete scowl at the very appearance of any q's
Norman store is very coupon friendly- actually enjoy watching the total go down and they offer gas tickets for every purchase, you can use up to three gas tickets on one single gas purchase to reduce your gas price up to $1.50- I've filled up my SUV for under $30 a couple of times. Great deal there and pleasant shopping experience!

I often wonder why it is so bad there is it poor management ?
I get harassed there about everytime I go in there. I follow coupon rules and I am not rude but till get done this way. The lady named Brandy is sweet that is the only reason I go back. Norman is great noy one hassle from anyone. Even the manager thanks me for being organized. Why are these two store like night and day ? In the end both store will take my coupons but the Noman store treats me like a person. Not like I am steeling from them.

I live in Yukon so mainly shop:
I-40 & Czech Hall in Yukon - I was told I can't do double transactions and I never have at this store, I think they have me confused with someone else. My coupons are always examined for expiration date and DND. If it states DND they do not double. This is an old Albertsons and the staff seem a little snobby to me when I use coupons.
I-40 and Mustang - I like this one better, they still examine the coupons but I don't feel like a criminal shopping there. The store is small and old and runs out of stock on sale items, but the staff are pretty friendly.
NW Expressway and MacArthur in OKC - Seems okay, but the cashiers aren't very friendly. I don't shop there very often.
122nd and Rockwell in OKC - Shop here maybe once a month if I'm on my way to some place else. Super snobby with couponers.
Basically I think that Homeland despises couponers on one hand, but says they love you on the other. It would be better if they doubled more than one like coupon so I wouldn't have to make multiple trips. If my barcode is the same on a coupon even if it is on a completely different product, none of these stores will double for me. Homeland is a complete hassle, but so necessary in saving my family money.

I used to live on the South side of OKC and the one at 104th & Penn was where I shopped the most for Homeland. They were also super rude and I considered them the coupon ****'s. This is an old Albertsons location. I've found that if a store was previously an Albertsons the cashiers are rude for the most part for some reason.
