Between the $2 Qs on the Solo plates and the BOGOF Hefty Elegantware, I got 662 paper/plastic plates for $10.23 with $8 back in oyno. I am the "go to guy" in the family when someone needs a hand, but, I'm not sharing my paper plates! They can take my razors, toothbrushes, and even my free sour cream, but, I draw the line at my plates.

The register allowed you to double more than 10 of a kind? I thought 10 was the limit. My local mgr told me it was 5, but, I've pushed it to 8 a couple of times and they all doubled.

Bi-Lo limits you to 10 like coupons if you want them to double. She more than likely did more than 1 transaction.

Most of my coupons come from the inserts in Sunday papers. I typically buy at least 4 newspapers each sunday, more if there are lots of good coupons in it. If there is something we use a lot of and I like to stock up for good sales on, I order those specific coupons from ebay.

Last week, Tetley Tea was $1.95 and BOGOF. I had 39 .55 Qs. They double only up to the value of the item. We pay tax on food in this state, so, each box cost .04 in tax. That made 39 boxes $1.56 minus .20 for bag credit. I am almost ashamed to say that I already had more than 50 boxes of tea; Luzianne, Lipton, and Tetley. Got them all the same way; BOGOF and double coupons. I guess I should figure in the cost of all the Qs I bought from TCC. I think they were .05 ea and I bought 30. That makes each box cost a total of 8 cents or something like that. Southerners only drink "sweet" tea, so, I had to pay $$ for all the sugar I'm going to use in the tea!

My first grocery trip with coupons. Got 10 Lifewaters with my .50 off coupon they were free!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I still have 30 more coupons and intend to use them all and have ordered more. Well, here's my story first off. (looks weird because I copied and pasted)

Tip #1...never go shopping with an ill 25 month old!!

Ok here goes....
The shopping went well until we got to the register. Cam wanted out of his stroller so that didn't help matters. The screaming/crying was drawing tons of attention. But what can you do during check out....

Well I was watching (trying to) the cashier scan my Q's and didn't notice she put my whole raincheck for 22 bottles of Loreal in the computer. It took off the B1G1 Free for 22 bottles. Well I explained that I had 22 Qs and the register would max out at 10 like Q's. So the CSR had to hand enter my q's. Come to find out the reason was the cashier didn't scan my other 12 bottles of shampoo. Well because she had to hand enter the q's I didn't think they doubled. She said they did. Well I let her finish the transaction and then went to my car and studied the reciept. Sure enough they didn't double. So I went back in and explained that my 22 Q's didn't double for .75. So the assistant manager examined the q and they refunded me the difference of $17.82. Yeah!! I was RIGHT!!:wink7: So....always pays to check your reciept!!:smile:

they have clearance select harvest at the front ( where the cashiers are) for 1.24 ea. I got 2 (only b/c I could not find any more q's or I could have got more.
anyway 1.24 ea and I got 2 for the q. and the q is for 75/2 so that is pretty good.
purina was on sale 15.99-$2 q( cheaper than going to target and the 35 min drive)
I always get dr. pepper as you see it is on my wish list , dr.pepper 3/9.00 12pks.

If I didn't have to buy meats and dog food it would have been lower, but I thought it was pretty good. I was really shocked when I saw the total because I didn't figure anything up as I went. I had a idea but that has been known to be off before. LOL
