More Stores Closing

I just heard today that the Albertsons in Flower Mound is closing. The last day of business is June 19th. My friend went there this morning, and they are not honoring prices from their sale ad. Any other DFW Albertsons stores closing?

So I needed a couple essentials, so I stopped in the store. They are not honoring any of their sales prices. They have discounts on everything in the store, but almost everything was 10% off. Also, it appeared that they had put all the sales tags up this week, but they aren't honoring that price. At least take down the stupid signs if you aren't going to honor the price.

Wow...I'll check on the 3 stores here in Denton and report back this weekend.

I was in one of them on Monday (?) and I don't recall seeing anything that indicated they were closing.

I'm in South Arlington. My store was supposed to get a major renovation and never did. It's cleaner lately than the past five years, and I've actually started going in there again lately. For the longest time it was dirty, poorly run, had a smell and there was never enough help.

Didn't see any signs of closing, and they honored all weekly specials. I got a ton of $1 stuff (10 for 10, but didn't buy 10) to stockpile.

Yea, the store closest to me in Plano is one of the 3 closing in the DFW area. I am not happy. I will not have an Albertsons near me anymore, sigh.

They just remodeled the Bedford store which is where I have to drive to shop. They closed both of my Irving stores int he last round of shut downs.

Yes - it is the store at Round Grove and 2499. The one up on 407 closed a while back. There is one more store in the area - in Lewisville on Main Street. Anyone know if that one is closing as well?

Which 3 are closing? That'll answer the question I have of which store in Plano? Is there only the one at Custer & 15th? (Think that's the intersection.) I noticed a while back that the Albertsons in Frisco (Legacy & Lebanon) wasn't doing gas. Not sure if it was perm but thought that was odd. (So odd I was stressed, in a hurry and forgot to find another station before running out. LOL)

The Plano store closing is Custer and Parker from my understanding.

Is there still one at Custer and 15th? Behind that McDonalds??? I haven't been to that intersection in forever.

There is an Albertsons at Shiloh and Park. Going to stay open. It is a very strangely laid out store, IMO.

There is an Albertson's(I think it is technically Allen) at McDermott and Custer on the SE corner as well.

There are 5 empty storefronts within a 10 mile radius that used to be Albertsons that have been out of business for YEARS and they still sit totally empty. Nothing going on in them. It is the pits for sure.

Just FYI the flower mound, and coppel locations were wiped out as of today!

I just FIGURES that as SOON as I catch on to this hard-core couponing thing that my Albertson's in COPPELL would close on me! This very week! (....or last week...no matter, I've been mourning the impending closure for well over a month since I found out!) I'm so incredibly sad!
