YouTube Crazy Coupon Video Contest!!!!!

Hotcouponworld is excited to announce it's first ever Crazy Coupon Video contest!

Here's the rules:

1. Create a video no longer than three minute about a couponing topic. This could be about anything from your stockpile, to your ECBs, how you swing a deal, why you shop with coupons...whatever you'd like it to be.

Video Criteria to Qualify:
* You must metion HCW somewhere in the video - words or images are ok.

2. We'll begin taking submissions May 1st. Deadline to enter is May 21st. Voting ends on June 15th. The sooner you get your video in, the more time you have to get votes!

3. We will update the OP with an email address to send your video to before the submission date opens.

4. We'll upload the videos to our Youtube account and post the URL in the official Crazy Coupon Video thread which will open on May 1st.

5. The object is that you need to get people to go vote on your video. There will be prizes for the videos with the combination of the most views and comments.

First place: $100 Amazon GC

2nd place will win a $50 GC

3rd place will win a $25 GC.


Remember, be creative as possible. You can do interviews, you can set the video to music, be funny, crazy....whatever you can come up with. And videos should reflect couponers in a positive light!

You don't have to be in it if you don't want...you can simply put together something funny and voice it over. It could have your pets...puppets, mountain of cereal, etc. No one said you need to stand in front of the camera and be IN the video....:hysterical:

Sounds like fun -- I'm gonna try to make the time. I saw Riff's YMMV doc through a friend and collaborator a couple of months ago and well... here I am with a shoebox full of Qs and just jumped on a train! I guess he's, like, a coupon evangelist. I'm also trying to convert my mom and sisters.

To you folks who don't have a video camera, you can still use your cell phone vidcams if it has one, or even put together pictures with your narration. I think this should be fun for everyone who just wants to show what they've learned and how much you love Qs!

My best friend thinks I'm in a cult. But wait til she sees me with a basket full of free Bic razors! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha! ::evil grin::

The same rules of the site apply to the video, ie, family friendly language, competitive site mentions, etc.

You can enter more than one video, and each will be judged separately.

You're can campaign on and off site - so pass it around to your friends and coworkers, family, etc to vote and comment. Get your video seen!
