Ahh! Got a call today from Kenny. He is "Kroger's coupon expert" I have his phone number and am to call ANY TIME there is a question or problem! Here are the long awaited answers.

Question: Overall, does the store manager have the last say over corporate?
Answer: No. The only thing they can stop is the amount of a certain product. If they don't want you cleaning out the shelves and buying 100 bottles of ketchup they can say no and only let you buy a certain amount. They can also stop you from using fraudulent coupons

Question: When it comes to buy one get one deals, how does that work in this situation? Example: You have Heinz vinegar 16 oz. on sale buy one get one free. I have 2 coupons for $1.00/1 16 oz. Heinz Vinegar can i use both? If i had a B1G1 coupon can I use that and get both items free?
Answer: Yes! You CAN use 2 coupons on B1G1 sale, if you want to use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale you can, but you can NOT use any other coupons on it.

Question: What is the policy on Overage? Example Excedrin is .99 cents I have a $2.00 coupon off ANY.
Answer: NO OVERAGE. If you are given overage, it is the cashiers fault and they will be dealt with. This is currently being stopped in the stores that this is happening. If the register beeps, the cashiers are NOT to put it through and are to contact a manager.

Question: What is your policy on acceptance of Internet printable coupons?
Answer: As long as it is a legit coupon there should be no problems, If you do have a problem please call Customer Service and the issue will be addressed promptly. We do not accept any coupon that violates the terms or is copied etc

Question: I see i can load coupons right onto my Kroger card, can i still use paper coupons for the same product?
Answer: YES! It is what we call "soft coupons" that are loaded on and you can still use a paper one too!

Question: When it comes to doubling, is it unlimited? Or can a manager stop me?
Answer: Manager can't stop you BUT they can limit the amount of product you buy. Example: you need 100 jello's the manager can say NO but they can't stop the amount of coupons you use as long as your doing it correctly. They can however stop you if your using them in a fraudulent manner

Question: Why are there no super doubles or triples anymore?
Answer: It's just not popular anymore for us or competitors in this area

Question: Do you guys take competitors coupons?
Answer: No

Question: Do you match prices in a competitors ad?
Answer: No

Here is the written coupon policy I got from Kroger corporate for the Cincinnati area last year, you may find it helpful.

Dear Ms. XXXX:

Thank you for contacting The Kroger Co. regarding the Coupon Policy for stores in our Cincinnati division. Our policy is as follows:

Coupons valued at .50 cents or less are doubled everyday. Those valued between .50 cents and $1 will be redeemed at $1.
Coupons valued at more than $1 will be redeemed at face value.
There is a limit of one manufacturer's coupons for any particular item.
Items must be purchased in sizes and quantities specified on each coupon.
This offer applies only to manufacturer's cents off coupons for items sold at Kroger and not to Free or
tobacco coupons.
No cash refunds will be given on a coupon value that exceeds the retail value of the item.

Additionally, we do accept Internet coupons however they must have the following:
Coupon must have a scannable barcode
Coupon must have a 'bill to:' or 'send to:' address in the fine print
Coupon must have a valid, future expiration date

Some useful information for Kroger:

Kroger Website Link (http://www.kroger.com/Pages/default.aspx) : Here you can view the weekly ads, find your nearest store, print manufacturers coupons, and load ecoupons. Ecoupons are coupons that can be downloaded right onto your Kroger Plus Card. Currently, there is the
P & G ESavers (http://pgesaver.com/Sites/PG_eSAVER/Page/HomePage/Retailer/Kroger/Source/Kroger/) and Shortcuts.com (http://shortcuts.com/?promo=kroger). Please note that the ecoupons can only be used once per card and can be used in combination with the paper manu coupons. They do not double.

How do you reach corporate? You can email them via this link (https://customer.kroger.com/comments/comments.aspx) or call at
