While visiting DH in mid October at Ft. Benning, noticed that Lysol wipes were $1.49 - $1/1 peelie from a few months ago = .49
I think normal price is $1.99.

Triscuits and Wheat Thins are on sale... 1.38 for the small boxes, and I think $1.50 for the large boxes (which is a great price in and of itself) BUT they also had $1/2 coupons there.

I have some up for trade if anyone needs them... they don't expire until 1/31/07 and are good on any Nabisco Crackers over 5 oz. They picture wheat thins and triscuits on the coupon, but do you think graham crackers would count? My girl love them, and they ARE crackers!

Frozen Turkeys for 39 cents a pound. Wahoo!!!! It's a brand I've never heard of... Honeysuckle White... but for that price, who cares. Just wish I had a bigger freezer!

Also, today they had sugary cereal which I don't buy, so I'm not sure what it was... Count Chocula or something? It was General Mills, 3 varieties... 85 cents plus a 1/2 coupon the rep was handing out. It was hard to pass up cereal at 35 cents a box, but I have lots of shredded wheat and raisin bran (not that they are great for you, but at least they have some fiber and nutritional value!!!!)

Found a General Mills Meal Times coupon booklet that has some good coupons inside. All are mfr, exp 11/13, dnd.

$1/3 Hamb helper
$1/2 Betty Crocker potatoes box or pouch ex potato buds. Pouch mashed potatoes are .50 making them free. Most box types are .89 - good deal.
$1/2 select gm cereals
$1/3 Betty c brownies
$1/3 any Progresso soups
$1/2 fruit crisps
$1/2 Yoplait smoothies - these are .66 ea and I found a tearpad in front of the smoothies b2g1free, so .32 + surcharge for 3.
$1/1 any 8th continent product
$1/2 any Old Elpaso ex refrig, frozen or soup proudcts. More free taco seasoning, or some shells were $1.09 and refried beans were .79.
$1/2 pillsbury sweet rolls or grands sweet rolls. Reg pills cinnamon or orange ones are $1.09, so $1.18/2
$1/2 pillsbury oven baked biscuits, rolls or mini loaves
$1/3 any grands biscuits

On the Betty crocker potatoes, there are also insert coupons out for those and printables in the data base. The insert ones are 10/1 ss $1/2 any box or pouch - excludes potato buds. They expire on 11/25.

Hi!
I am brand spanking new here. Just registered and this is my first post. We are AF in Little Rock.
I wanted to add to your discussion that our commissary has Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Patties and Chunks at 3.49 a bag. We have a $1 off coupon which will make it only 2.49 a bag. That is a good deal!!

Today's trip:

15.6 oz Rice Chex 1.99 normally $2.79 used my $1 off 2 Q so So $1.74 a box.
10 oz. Wheat Thins $1.39 normally $2.25

On other products I normally buy there were some big price increases so I didn't buy them. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the way they jack prices up like that. :shrug1:

Thanks to all the great $1/1 Q's I traded I got 10 bags of Pillsbury Oven Baked Biscuits for .75 each. My freezer is full. The cashier was like"You are getting a good deal on these." I just smiled and said "Yes I am"

Welcome to the board Jackee.:smile1:

Yeah! I have $2/1 for any Honeysuckle White Frozen or Fresh Turkey. Exp 1-31-07. I only grabbed 2 because thats really all the turkey we eat a year. But at this price, maybe I'll grab a couple more. They were at Food Lion on a tearpad near the wines. I grabbed them when I got the Ragu a week or so ago, so hopefully they have a couple left. If I can find a small 10 lb turkey, after coupon it will only be $1.90 !

I don't know... I don't shop Ft Meade often enough to know if it's a Thanksgiving Special, or what... they had 2 of the portable-floor freezers full of them, but Annapolis doesn't have them... so I don't know what to tell you! There weren't even any signs posted with the price... we just knew from the tag on the turkeys. Sorry!

If I had more freezer space, I personally would just buy them and not worry about waiting for coupons, unless I could confirm the supply would be replenished.

Our dinky commissary was just putting out their 39 cent/lb Honeysuckle White turkeys this afternoon... so it might be worth another trip to see if yours has them now, too.

I didn't find it in the frozen section at Eustis. I couldn't swing back by the fresh meat section because my back was hurting:-( I've emailed the manu & they are checking with a rep to see who carries it in our area. I'll post.

Today I checked with the meat dept. at Ft. Knox, KY commissary. Was told they have the .39 lb. turkeys in the back, but are not allowed the put them out until the manager gives the word and right now she is on vacation. My guess is that they have so many of the more expensive turkeys to sell first. They told me they will probably put them out next week but could not target a specific date.
When these cheaper turkeys came in a few weeks ago, I was told they were out for sale, but they had to stop selling them until the manager gives the okay.
Have a great day!!
