COOK BOOK Easy Overnight Oatmeal

For each person, you need:

1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup milk or soy milk
1/2 cup water
dash of salt

Put the ingredients in the proper sized container* and stir (saucepan, corningware, etc). Cover. Set the oven the 175 degrees (150 if using glass). Go to sleep. Wake up and serve. Add sugar/honey/toppings as desired.

*Because the oven is only at 175 degrees, it doesn't necessarily need to be "oven safe". But I don't think you'd want to cook this in plastic...

Default Re: Easy Overnight Oatmeal

oatmeal cooks in two minutes in the microwave. Why would you run your oven all night? Did this recipe come from your gas/electric company? LOL. I am just kidding, don't be mad. :)

BTW, you can also cook oatmeal in a crockpot. I got a free tiny one when I bought my big one, and it works great for oatmeal.
