Default Bacon Wrap Weines

This is very easy to fix.

3/4 lb brown sugar
1lb bacon cut into thirds
1 pkg. Hillshire little smokies cocktail weiners

Spread the brown sugar in a 9x13 pan. Wrap each of the Weinies in a piece of bacon. Place on top of the brown sugar. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

I thought these were easy to make and went really well at the parties I've served them at. The recipe on the internet said bake at 325 for 40 minutes and some said this was not long enough. They can be placed in a crock pot to keep them warm during the party.

I can't thank you enough for posting this. I was coming to this area to ask for a recipe for little smokies. I got 18 packs for free from FL and needed to find a recipe for them. Of course I can do pigs in a blanket or little smokies in the crockpot but this one sounds excellent. I think this is great!!! I will make this for NEW YEARS!!!!

TIPS Re: Bacon Wrap Weines

We do them kraut in them.
Split the wieners and stuff w kraut.
Wrap w bacon ( I wrap spiraled) and hold in place with a toothpick.
My old stove was 400 degrees for 15 min (precooked bacon).
Adjust the temp to 350 for raw bacon.
