The new homepage looks good! Right now, I am seeing it via IE6 on a laptop computer with either a 14 or 15" screen in 1024x768 resolution. But there are a couple other pages that are looking funky for me.
On the abbreviations page
Hot Coupon World » Abbreviations, Acronyms, & Coupon Terms, the horizontal orange bar at the bottom that contains links to Home, Contact Us, Advertise, etc. is instead vertical and pushed all the way over on the left side of the page, while the horizontal grey tabs from the top of the page are also vertical and floating all the way over on the upper right side. (Btw, is there a technical name for that horizontal orange bar?)
This same issue occurs on the newsletter signup page,
Hot Coupon World » Newsletter Sign Up , the resources page
Hot Coupon World » Resources, and articles page
Hot Coupon World » Articles . There is also some other text on those pages showing up in thin columns, and the problem is creating a lot of empty grey space on the right side and empty white space in the lower middle. If you need screencaps, I can give them to you in a Word doc, but you'd have to tell me how to attach a Word doc to this post. (Actually, even if you don't want the Word doc, would you please tell me how one would attach it to a post, just for future reference. I noticed a PP did that, but I can't figure out where the button for that is.)
I'm curious, what sort of tech issue is creating the above appearance problems? Is it related to CSS (referred to upthread by a PP) or something else?
Also, not tech issues but typos. In that little white strip up at the top of the abbreviations, articles, and resources pages, "JC Penney" is mispelled as "JC Penny." (Another tech-curious question, what is that little white strip called, and what's it there for? Initially I thought it was clickable, but apparently not.) And below that, on the newsletter signup page, in the middle white box, it says "Save lot's of money!"; "lot's" should be "lots". Same "lot's" typo on homepage, where white box is on upper right side.
HTH.
Edited to add: I forgot to say, the Forums page and the New Posts page don't fit squarely in my fully open browser window. They both require scrolling over to the right to see the User CP and all that other stuff (for lack of a better term). Was all that stuff always there? Did I just never notice that side of the page before, tucked underneath the vertical scroll bar?
The other pages I mentioned and linked to above also don't fit in my browser window and require extra scrolling.
Anyway, again, HTH. :-)
