I would like ot be able to Mod an ddelete posts for old ur unused threads, that way we can keep the board current. I am not that experienced at any particular section yet, though.... AMY
Hotcouponworld.com is currently looking for forum specific moderators. If you are an "expert" for a particular forum and are committed to posting the deals we want you!
We would like to see a forum moderator for each store and if stores have regional sales then a sub forum for each region. This person would be in charge of keeping the forum clean (maintaining stickies), making sure all posts follow our TOS, and most importantly posting the deals. If you get sneak peeks of the sales that would be great. But if you don’t but are committed to posting the ad each week with coupon match ups from the Coupon Database we want you. As well posting policy and FAQ and fielding questions about your store.
One Benefit of becoming a moderator is "Hot Mod" with your forum added as a title. Eventually as hotcouponworld.com grows we hope to implement a way for our Mods to be paid. But for now it is a volunteer job.
If you are interested in joining our staff, please submit a mod application or if you have any questions about what is involved, please PM sbp.

Amy S ...sometimes I can spell funny. It has to do with my disability from my service in the US Marines...
I'd just like to add that if all the forums in which you are interested already have mods, you might still want to let sbp know you're interested. It's probably good for her to have an alternates list so if the current mod of a forum is looking to move to a different one or feels he/she needs a co-mod, sbp has some ideas for candidates.

Just replying, so that if you're interested in applying to be a mod, you can easily PM me.
And I'd also like to point out that we require that you be an active member of HCW for a minimum of 2 months and also that you are posting regularly in the forum that you're interested in.

How many mods are there per a forum, and are there any other requirements?

My WISHLIST!
Generally there is only 1 mod for each store forum, but a few of our busier forums do have more than one (like CVS and Walgreens)
The duties may vary a bit by forum, but the minimum requirements are as I mentioned, the 2 month membership timeframe and actively posting within the forum. If someone doesn't quite meet the requirements, please don't let that dissuade you from contacting me. As pennywatcher mentioned, I do have a 'waiting list' type of thing for future mod placements.
