You can still click to continue on to the site, and the message should only appear once. I hope you will all support our decision to strike against SOPA.

Because HotCouponWorld is a user generated site this bill has the potential to harm our site.

I will be not using the internet tomorrow as well as some of our moderators in protest. We would like to encourage you to do what you feel is right of course but if you would like to stop SOPA please at the very least contact your state Representatives and let them know you are against SOPA.

Obviously this is a very slimmed down list. I thought it was important to note that these companies are in support of SOPA. I only listed places people might shop and not the list of brands that support SOPA, Johnson and Johnson is one...I would encourage you to look up the full list.

GOOD - it will remind you of how bad the internet could become if this bill is passed.

Corporations pushing SOPA/PIPA want the ability to block you from reaching any web site they feel might be hurting their profits -- without due process of any kind, or review in any court -- by literally interrupting all Internet traffic to those sites via DNS at the ISPs and by censoring search engine results. Incredibly, many lawmakers want to give them that right.
