In other notes....

I just figured out how to get to the last post within a discussion in the social groups.

When you are in the main page of your group look at the discussions and next to the last poster of that discussion summary there is a small little arrow. If you click that arrow you are taken to the last post in that discussion.

Haven't read through all the posts so if this has been mentioned sorry! 2 new things I have noticed:

1. Most if not all posts seem to have tags
2. In your User CP under "Your Profile" you now have an edit "Profile Privacy" option.

I noticed the tags too. I went to put in my tags after I posted my threads and they were already there for me. Way cool feature!
The Profile Privacy feature is also new to me.

Hey everyone I just wanted to post an update on the coupon database and the load issues some members have been having with some of the trade tabs. Thanks to a kind member that allowed me to log into her account so I could see if the issue was an "our" issue or a "member" issue. I was able to get see that this issue is totally an HCW issue as it seems that the script that loads the page is timing out on tabs that have a lot of coupons on them (member I tested had 900+ coupons on her have list) thus her have list and outgoing trade tab were not loading at all or were loading slowly.

I have emailed out tech database guy and he is on the task right now to get this issue fixed. He will probably be adding in pagination (so that instead of one page with ALL your coupon entries on it there will be multiple pages) which should increase all the page to load faster and the script will not time out on loading.

That being said our estimate is that this is going to take about 1 week to get fixed. Our database tech guy is having to work on a previous guys work and so he has to familiarize himself with the code. He has been working on a NEW version of the coupon database which is a while out from being done.

So...please bear with us on the database load time. There is not a whole lot that we can do to get this resolved faster but we are working on it. Make sure that you click the link to get your have list and wish lists posted in the forums so that you can still trade the old fashioned way (by PM)
