It amazing how fast $250 goes!!! I need a double stroller, I watch a baby during the day, along with mine, and my daughter still needs to be "restrained" from time to time :)
I have to say that HCW has acutally changed our familys finiancial situation from really really bad, to much better. I lost my job in March and we quickly saw how our savings depleted when we went from a two income household to one. It was very hard, we had a 2 year old and I was pregnant. Not a good time. Right before my son was born I found HCW and with the help of many on this board, I learned how to stretch the money we do have to make it so we can still provide for our family. We are now being able to add to savings again and still get the things that we need. Thank you, so much, for starting HCW to help people everywhere learn how to save money for their family!!! I know I greatly appriecate it!!!! :)

I have only been on HCW for about a month but WOW I have learned so much! I have spent so many hours ready the forums etc. & it has been such a blessing to me. I recently got married & I had been living outside the USA for 7 years as a missionary. So needless to say I have had a lot of adjusting to do. The prices & even the method of shopping is so different here than what I had become used to. HCW & info I found on other sites from here have helped me to figure out how to shop for my husband & I, think ahead & start planning to have a stockpile, plan meals, save money & in some cases even make money (thank you Meijer & Jello!!! hahahah!) Thank you HCW for making such a difference in my life & helping so many things make sense & cents LOL!
Because I was living overseas for so long I really didn't have any household things. My husband being a man.... Never decorated or anything. So although we have a couple things I would love to do more to make our house 'homey' so this would be great!- JCPenney : $250 JCPenney Gift Card

I am so appreciative of all the wonderful people here on HCW. I am a stay-at-home mom to three children, trying to make it in today's world solely on my husband's income as an ironworker. When I started using coupons, I became frustrated because it was so hard to know what was the best use of my coupons. I would spend time cutting coupons, and either forget to bring them with me or when I would go to use them they would be expired. With the help of HCW, I am now able to get the best possible deals using my coupons. Everyone is so helpful in creating scenarios for getting the best deals. It has been great to stockpile items cheaply to use during periods of unemployment. I enjoy using coupons now, thanks to the friendly and helpful people here at HCW.

What a wonderful idea....I looked around for something I would never ask for because it costs too much. I am actually using my Aunt's mixer that was given to me when she had to go into a nursing home. This was over 7 years ago. It was old when I got it, and I am sure each time I get it out, that it won't turn on. So here is my wish. KitchenAid 4.5-qt. Ultra Power Stand Mixer - Empire Red
I have completely changed how I shop and the way I look at shopping. Between HCW and Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, we are not running out of money before we run out of month. Thanks to HCW, I have an ING account that I may not need to use for Christmas, and can up my monthly deposit. You guys are awesome.
