After my husband lost his job, I was frantically looking for rebates to send for. I started going through my pantry, pulling out stuff that I recently bought, and still had receipts for...googling to find rebate forms. I can't remember which product I was searching for at the time, but a HCW thread came up, and I got curious. I think I spent 2 hours looking at the site, before I realized I'd forgotten my original task!!

Was a member at a few sites and couldnt find what I was looking for one day and googled it and up popped hcw and now this is my main site and just vist the others on a whim.

During the holidays of 2006 I was looking for Black Friday store ads and found two sites. This one and a different one. I bookmarked both, but visited the other more often than this one. And then about a year ago I started visiting HCW more often, I guess daily. So this January I decided I should actually join, and the rest is wonderful!

I found HCW when hunting for the specifics/master list for a Safeway promo.... It did take me a while to figure out that the board was bigger than just the Safeway forum LOL
