Hi All !! Iam Danielle I shop at the Shaws in Sturbridge , MA.
Since joining HCW I have learned so much ! I learned to read the catalina's that print out, to think i used to throw them away
I also leanred how to use coupons , well i knew how but not the right way ! I have saved so much money on our food bill it is crazy ! Just today I spent $26.00 at Shaws and saved $34.00 and got free movies ticket to boot !

Hi, I am from NH (beautiful White Mountain area)

Since finding HCW in May I have learned sooo much about couponing and saved so much money. (Last week with the Kraft deal I spent $13.42 and saved $243.56, received 11.50 OYNO and with the ducklings club qualified for 3 free pizzas) WOW, this could never happen without all the support and great information from HCW.

I guess the best thing I learned so far is the loyalty of the HCW members to help each other out in finding the best deals honestly.

Hi Heather, I am Jeanette from NH. The best thing I have learned that has helped me is that stores will allow you to combine a store coupon and a manu coupon together! Who knew! The first time I did it I thought for sure I would be given a hard time but apparently I'm the only one on the planet that didn't know this because not one cashier has ever said a thing.

Hi All! I live in Maine also (still trying to figure out who's cleaning out all the WT's at my store :-).

I have been couponing for many many years, even taught a class of sorts on it (won't do that again! harder to find deals when everybody in your small town knows about them!), but have learned ALOT from this group. My first and foremost was already mentioned, and in going along with the rules...my second is....I read this board twice daily to find what people are seeing that I may have missed. This isn't necessarily sales that are advertised in the paper, these are clearances (like the Tide a couple of weeks ago....@ 50% off, I'm set for the year) and discontinued! I have learned that if Southern Maine has a clearance one day, than I wait a week or two and they show up in my Shaws, and I'm prepared with coupons in hand!

Hi! I Live in Mass BUT I shop at the Woonsocket, Rhode Island Shaw's !!!! (does that count?) I always thought Shaw's was too expensive but now that I read all the deals on HCW I go there every week. I've only posted on the Shaw's thread a few times so far. The main thing I've learned is SALE ITEM + COUPON + CATALINA (or rebate) = A GREAT DEAL !!!! A recent example would be Planter's Peanuts.
