Well, I'll go first. "Hi!" This is very exciting! Congrats on turning 2 HCW!

I have learned so many things from this sight. Probably the best has been to learn about OYNO's. I never paid much attention to them before I came here. If I happened to get one, I am sure I thought it was completely random!

Probably the most important thing I've learned at HCW is: sometimes the best deals can be found in the least-obvious places! Before HCW, I would have never dreamed I get better deals on soft drinks, cereal, crackers, etc. at a DRUG STORE than at a grocery store! LOL

I totally agree with this! I NEVER shopped CVS b/c I thought the prices were too high. Since joining HCW I have learned how to shop CVS

yes...I used coupons before..thought I was pretty darn smart....snert..

but...I only used them if it was something I already used..I never looked at trial sizes, clearance, or sales...I was pretty out of it when shopping..

now..I go with my coupons, my "list", my calculator and my notes from here ("check for item xyz at target)...even though I"m not makeing alot of money and have at times needed aid myself...I'm still able to donate to local food, school, ect drives...things i never would've gotten even if it was free cause "I don't need that, what on earth do I need that for" ( i.e. girl stuff...I personally don't need that stuff) it never dawned on me that somebody else DID need that stuff and I could help!

I've learned that it's best to read here before settling on a deal. I can't tell you how many times I thought I'd found the best price only to read here that it's better at another store.

Since joining HCW I have learned so many things and I am very thankful for everyone's help and knowledge. The one thing that sticks out the most is to save every coupon in the inserts and grab the ones you see when you are out and about even if it is something you are not going to use because you never know when that item will go on sale. I used to just cut what I needed for the week and toss the rest. I feel so good when I'm in a store and can brighten someone else's day when I play coupon fairy and have a coupon they need. Most of the time I have multiples and will share a HOT coupon with someone buying a sale item. They are truely amazed to know they can get the item for free or nearly free. I pass on the wonderful advice I get from here to any one who will listen. Thanks again Everyone!
