I buy only the ones I truely need or want. That was my problem before with coupons....the Sunday papers always seemed to have Very few I'd use & I'd spend the $ I'd saved on coupons just buying the stupid paper.

I've bought Nesquick,40 free choc milk
80 packs of Free toliet paper, Free
Butter, ect,ect just to name a few.

I have learned so much from HCW, but my favorite new trick is winetags! I never knew they existed and that some are for no wine purchase necessary! The wine section is now my favorite place to look!

Happy Anniversary, HCW! I think the most important thing I've learned about is all the different places coupons are available! The database is my best friend, and I love knowing all the different place to either print coupons or find them in stores. Thanks for such a wonderful site; I would be spending so much more without you!

I have learned that just because I have a coupon doesn't mean I have to use it! When I first started, I was so excited that I was "saving" money, that I bought all sorts of things I didn't need, and didn't really get that good of a deal on them. Now, I keep my coupons for that great freebie deal... so what if they expire? Better that than buying something at the wrong price. Thanks HCW!!!

I agree with this! I thought CVS ecb's were a trick, coupons didn't save me much $, blah blah blah. I always bought on sale, but now that I do coupon + sale item, I do my happy dance at the car, unloading my stuff. Sometimes, like last night at Kroger when I got 23 propels (.50 q doubled, on sale 10/10) FREE I couldn't wait till I got to the car- it happened in the store!!. My fam is amazed & my sis, who is a brand-loyal, non-sale shopping, money waster, just asked me to take her grocery shopping. Yeah! I rock!! My I have ref stocked, am getting ready to buy a deep freeze to keep my stock in , and have fam members shopping out of my stockpile closet. Who knew saving $ could be so much fun and such a rush! Better than drugs I tell you! (which I've never tried btw). Everytime my husband sees my swiping q's, cutting, and organizing, he tells me he's so proud. All of our "saved" $ is going to college loans. WHew- I could keep going but you get the drift.

Hi! Congratulations on the 2 yr anniversary!

I have learned so much from HCW. I think the most important thing I have learned is how to shop. Shopping used to be something I dreaded because we didn't have the money. Now I LOVE TO SHOP and even though we aren't bringing in any more money than we were, it feels like it because we are not spending it on silly things like groceries and shampoo

I have learned to never ever pay full price on health and beauty stuff. These are things we regularly denied ourselves of. I now have tons of shampoos, conditioners,kids shampoo ect in brands I love and would never buy full price! No more generic for me! Well sometimes but not often. :)

Congrats on turning 2. I joined about a year ago and I am surprised HCW is only 2 I really thought that a site this awesome would be older. The biggest thing I learned was patience, just because I want something I now know if I wait there will be a great sale on it.
