Fit and Active - hmm... I was at Aldi's today and needed lunch meat. My first impulse was to buy their Fit and Active, but I decided to compare labels anyway. As it turns out their Lunch Mate brand is lower in fat, calories (and calories from fat), cholesterol, and higher in protein.
The only drawback is that it's also higher in sodium.
Just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone thinks they're getting a lower fat, lower calorie meat by buying F&A.
