QUESTION Aldi's hamburger patties?

has anyone tried the aldi's hamburger patties, the one's in the big box of 20 for like $7, I was wondering if they were any good, I have a picnic to buy for and I dont want to waste my money if they are gross.

Yep! I've tried them, and I like them. I hate dealing with raw meat ... I know, I really need to get over it ... so I like the fact that I can take some tongs, remove them & place them in the pan without ever getting my hands dirty. I forget the fat content, but I don't think they drastically shrink - about average for a hamburger. You have to add some seasoning though ... I don't like 'plain' hamburgers. I use Lawry's. =)

I don't really like them. I think they have an "odd" taste and texture...it's one of the few things I won't buy there...

I like the ones at Sav-A-Lot better.

We grilled them on Monday and they actually weren't that bad.. we just added some seasoning to them and they were good. Plus they were a great price... I think in my area they were something like $5 for the box

I thought the boxed ones were nasty but we really like the 12 pack that comes in the bag, those are good.
