Aldi's ~ Question : Discounted meat and produce???????

I love our new Aldi's but I notice when I go that they usually have discounted meat and produce from time to time. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a certain day of the week that they discount it or if it is just as needed. I would love to be there the day they discount their meat (sounds funny when you say it that way).

At ours it seems to be on as needed basis, when they have overstock or something close to going bad. I have bought celery one sunday night for .25 because they had too many and the leaves were turning yellow.
I heard someone say theirs had a sign on the door that all hams were $5 off etc.

I agree that it depends on what they have overstocked... I have gotten hams for 5-10 dollars off, marked down breads, meats, veggies, etc.

I have been getting bread and dairy on mark down as well as meat.
