I was at Aldi's this morning. They had big signs up that they now accept Debit and Check cards. Still no checks or credit cards but it is something so you don't have to always carry the cash for payment there.
ours has taken them for a long time...only downfall is that my bank charges 50c every time you use the card as a debit instead of credit...easier to hit the ATM before I head inside.... (IMO)
