Aldi's ~ Good Deal: Milk 2.49, Powdered sugar .99

I went to Aldi's yesterday. I got a gallon of skim milk for 2.49, and I think the other types were 2.59? I think this is a very good deal. At Walmart it is now 3.27!

I bought powdered sugar for .99 (2 lbs), it was over a $1 at walmart when I bought the great value brands this weekend.

ya its a good deal for milk. They are like $4 here in WM. Also aldi has instant oatmeal for 1.69 i guess but not quaker. They also taste good.

At my Aldi in Canton, OH - milk is $2.39 this week! Unfortunately, I bought 2 gallons and then the power went out for 21 hours. Now I have to dump the milk.

Thanks for the price info -- I'm heading there now. I used to get their powdered milk and when the gallon jug is half-empy I'd add the powdered stuff and no one in my house could taste a difference. But that price shotup, too. Maybe it's gone down a little :)
