I tried the fresh ground turkey and it was fine.

I also thought their produce went bad pretty quickly. The only produce I get there now is bananas. My toddler eats them so fast, it doesn't matter, and I can always make banana bread if they get too ripe.
I tried the ground turkey too, and I thought it tasted fine, but I do find an occasional bone in it. Chew carefully!

Aldi's is just like any other store. Some things are good deals, some are not. It's times like this a price list is handy

Price wise, for me, it depends on if I can find a great sale on the things I need that week on sale at the stores that do take coupons. Here lately, it has just been easier to stop there.
I usually buy the frozen ground turkey, and we like it. But I only use it in dishes I would use ground beef in like lasagna, enchilada casseroles, chili etc. I would never use it to make patties or anything. An Aldi's just opened across the street from our Wal-Mart, so I'm in heaven. I usually start their, and what I can't get off my list, I hop over to Wal-Mart. Just make sure you have a quarter to use their carts (which you get back when you return the cart) and bring your own bags. I would definitely recommend this store!!
