Can anyone tell me if Aldi's carries canned black beans?

Hi,

I just read that our area (Evansville) is getting 3 Aldi stores this year. I am so excited! I am new to couponing and hope to get super cheap prices on a lot ..but I realize that there will be many times where I will need to buy things that are not on sale and that I cant find coupons for..and aldi's will be good for that. Can anyone tell me if Aldi's carries canned black beans? If they do.. any idea of what the price per can is?

Yes, they carry canned black beans. But, I can't remember the price. I used to buy them here all the time. But, now I splurge and buy the low sodium ones from Target.

My experience has been that they sometimes carry canned black beans - when they are doing a Mexican fiesta promotion - they also carry refried beans at that time - and the last time they had them at my store (st. louis area) they were 45c ea. - HTH!

I get frustrated cause they don't carry dried black beans. Arrrgh. This is a huge staple in our diet.

All our Aldi's has is great northern beans. No kidney beans, no lentils. sigh

Same here ... we get the black beans only during that mexican fiesta promo time. Ours always has refried beans, though -- both the regular and fat free.

No black beans in Grand Rapids MI, but the refired beans are tasty.
