| | Aldi's and Coupons?? Sorry if this has been asked, but my search kept timing out.
1. Does Aldi's take coupons?
2. And does there brand taste good?
3. Is it worth shopping there, money wise?
I will be around an Aldi's this weekend, and thought I would try them if it was worth it.
Thanks a bunch! |

| | Re: Aldi's and Coupons?? I can answer two out of three of your questions.
1. No, they don't take coupons. They only take cash and debit cards...no checks or credit cards (at least that's the way it is at my location).
2. I mostly just buy produce there, and have never tried their canned goods. I have tried a few of their frozen seafood items, and I liked them. Oh...and my family can't get enough of the frozen onion rings!!
3. It's worth it to me to buy my produce there, because it's always cheaper than the big grocery stores. The only produce coupons I know of, are winetags and peelies. Neither of these are found in my area, so I can't get my produce free like some members here can. But, I can always find produce at a good price at Aldi's. |

| | Re: Aldi's and Coupons?? Aldi's is out-of-my-way, so I don't really go there any more. However, I was given a raspberry-glazed spiral ham for Christmas, from there, that was absolutely wonderful.

| | Re: Aldi's and Coupons?? That is just about the only place I buy canned veggies. I buy a lot of staples like sugar, flour, eggs, milk, and cooking oil there b/c they are cheaper than anywhere else in the surrounding stores I shop at even if it is on sale and I can use a coupon.

btw, in our Aldi, they'll take a CC but they add a surcharge so its better to bring cash or DC.

Nope.
2. And does there brand taste good?
I grew up on Aldi's brand food. Now that I'm an adult, I really don't mind it. Before I started couponing, DH & I purchased almost everything from Aldi.
3. Is it worth shopping there, money wise?
Not anymore. I really haven't gone there in a while. I don't bake, so I don't stock up on flour or sugar. We buy our organic milk, eggs and spring mix from Costco. Everything else I can usually get cheaper with a coupon elsewhere.
I probably should go back to getting produce from there though. It really is the cheapest place around here. |
