I love their insulated bags. They cost $1 and last long. I keep 3 in my car and use eveytime I shop for my frozen and cold items. They keep food cold for 3 hours. With gas the way it is I am trying to make all my errands on one trip(day). I can even wait in my car and relax before my kids to get out of school instead of having to run home to unload and go back to the school!

I use reusable bags at my grocery stores that I keep in the car and work perfectly at Aldi's!

how smart. I would never come up with such a thing on my own. I usually end up buying one back and stuffing it full because I forget mine.

I've recently discovered that an empty soda "fridge pack" is great for stuffing full of plastic bags. I had used empty tissue boxes before, but since I have been shopping at CVS and Wags, I have amassed a huge amount of bags! We're getting an Aldi's by the end of the year and was curious as to what they had to offer!

I also keep one of their insulated freezer bags in the trunk. I partially fill it with CVS or Walmart bags. Then I can put the cold stuff in the freezer bag and the other stuff in recycled bags. I sometimes use boxes for groceries, especially the canned veggie boxes which I bring home cans in and then reuse for storage of my uncut coupon inserts. They are the perfect size and I can write the date on it with a Sharpie if I haven't cut them for a couple of weeks.

How are the deals at this store? I noticed a new one coming in to my area. Are they coupon friendly??

Aldi does not accept coupons. But, as a discount grocery store, they often have the lowest regular prices in my area. They mostly carry only their store brand, so not a big selection. There prices are NOT usually lower than sale prices combined with coupons. But they have pretty good regular prices on canned fruits and veggies, produce, rice, flour, etc. So, I tend to stock up there on things that rarely go on sale or whatever I need that I can't find a good deal on.
