Told they no longer accept comp. coupons???

I went into Albies today and tried to use a competitor's coupon, and they said that as of yesterday, they no longer accept any competitor's coupons. I asked if it was a corporate decision or just their store and they said corporate. Anyone else have this problem????

Mine did just last Friday 3/21 from Safeway.

I've not run into this problem, thank goodness. I just used a Safeway coupon tonight. Two as a matter of fact.

Hi all...just wanted to mention that I just talked to Albertsons corporate today and they told me that they do take competitors which INCLUDES target, walgreens, etc. They are contacting my store to tell them and then have them call me about it in the next 24 hours.

I also called corporate and they told me that they are no longer accepting the competitor coupons, at least in my region. They had to look up my stores by my zipcode. :( This is where I used to spend all my WAG RR, but no longer....

Edited to add: I'm in California (western region).

So, if I have a publix coupon, saying - must be redeemed at publix, for $1 off 12 pk pepsi, can it be used at Albertson's???
