QUESTION Kraft $1.50 salad dressing question

ok i have a question to anyone that can help im pretty new @ couponing & love it i went to albies today used coupons thought i had it all figured out i didnt need ranch dressing bought anyways because it was
1.50
_1.50
double _ 1.00
= credit +1.00
anyways the lady said she couldnt take more 1.50 off otherwise that was coupon fraud help ...........:hectic1:

Overages are tricky. I would agree with the cashier since thats been my experience with most grocery stores.
Small overages dont seem to matter such as: BBQ on sale for .99 and you have a coupon for $1 off BBQ. They scan the coupon and you've actually made an overage of .1 on your total bill. But to reduce a product to beyond its face value isnt commonly accepted.
I always ask Customer Service first and then when the cashier says no then I can justifiably get mad and say 'well he said I could!' :D
I dont know Albertsons corporate policy but Ill bet theres a mention of overages in it.
