Double couponing is back. Check your mailboxes for newsprint coupon booklet. Mine was inside the Pennysaver. There are two of them on the back cover. Few other store coupons inside as well for Tyson breaded chicken, pepsi cubes, oscar meyer deli shaved lunchmeat to mention a few.

Do my eyes deceive me, or are they doubling a $1.00 coupon to $2.00
with these? Forgive me, but I've been brow-beaten for so many years
with the "no doubling of coupons in excess of .50 cents" mantra from
Vons and Ralphs, I've almost forgotten the glory days of doubling $1.00

Yes. They are doubling $1 coupons to $2. Anything $1.01+ will be redeemed at face value.

As for the coupons that state DND, they have been instructed to double those as well.

Twice the Value store coupons can only be used in combination with a $1.00 or less manufacturer coupon (a printed face value of $1.01 or greater cannot be combined with Twice the Value store coupons).

• Albertsons DOES allow manufacturer coupons that state they cannot be ‘doubled’ to be used in conjunction with a Twice the Value store coupon.
