lol That sounds like my local Staters. I avoid going there now because they are so not coupon friendly.

Ditto here. I avoid them most months, but on rare occasion I cave and then instantly regret it as soon as I get to the cashier and start experiencing coupon issues. I guess I just need to stop giving them chances and quit shopping there altogether.

was 2.99 48oz. w/in-store mfc $1/1... 1.99......very gd price if you need oil..

Ralphs $5.69....yikes...

LOL! I am glad that I am not the only one here that feels this way. I was regularly recycling their ad without reading it and then decided to give them another chance. BIG MISTAKE!!! I don't know what it is, but it's almost as if they hate anyone that uses coupons or questions them. Uhhhh!

ETA: Or at least that is what I have experienced in the San Diego North County area.

Ocean & Desert Your not the only ones that experience scrutiny with coupons @ Stater Bros.... I tried with the promo a while back ago with buy x get x off your purchase and since I was getting more than one promo oh no no you cant do that blah blah blah, after I heard "no" it was garble... Then beeping Qs, forget about that, no sympathy with the customer to gain more customers with the rise in coupon usage.

Albertsons has been quite friendly with me with allowing me to get as much as I want WITHIN REASON>.....
