    Question... anyone have an issue with the Spend 20 get 5 Kraft CAT the other week???

    I would love to do the baby sale, but last weekend (the 28th) I got jello and philly crm cheese and used the 1.25/3 Qpns and got only the $1.50 for buying the Philly... not the $5 CAT... so did they adjust the CAT machines to now calculate the total AFTER qpns???

    I keep meaning to call the CAT company and ask about those 2 trans, but time for phone calls around here is limited !

    I still have some $1/1 Gerber baby food Qpns that Gerber sent in my twins welcome gift along with some $1.50/1 pampers, might make an ok deal.

    Have to work on some scenarios...

    Ok.. I think I might do this :
    3 pampers jumbo = 26.97
    4 gerber 2nd stage = 4.00
    total = 30.97
    - 4x $1/1 Gerber
    -3x $1.50/1 Pampers
    = 22.47, get $10 CAT so 4.15 per jumbo pack ???

    OR (I need wipes)
    1 huggies wipes 9.49
    1 huggies big box 19.99
    1 gerber 2nd food 1.00
    total = 30.48
    - $1/1 Gerber
    -$3/1 any huggies
    -.75/1 huggies wipes
    total = 25.73 get $10 cat so 15.73 for a big box of dipes and a box of wipes

    But I'm going to wait and hear if anyone else had an issue with the CATS as my store is coupon unfriendly.... manager despises coupons... :(

    PS if anyone knows what triggers the $7.50 off 1 can Baby Basics formula PLEASEEEEEE let me know... I got 1 and would LOVE to get MORE (that time I bought jello and philly crm cheese ??? I don't see that triggering it LOL )

    According to Catalina, chain stores (Walgreens) as well as individual stores can request that Catalina prevent certain catalina deals from rolling over into themselves and printing a new catalina for the same deal. Coupon-wise, unless they have made huge changes in their software programs (constant upgrades cost the stores $$) regarding the transmission of coupon info (umpteenth barcodes to input KWIM?) back and forth between the store server and Catalina, I can't see them actually being able to calculate what you actually used coupons on. :shrug7: So my thoughts as to why certain catalinas don't print like they should??? A particular product(s) is usually the cuplrit and didn't register (wasn't programmed in correctly) as part of the promo deal when it should have been.

    Most of the catalinas that spit out of the catalina machine are random. But, certain triggers are placed such as when you buy certain brands of formula, diapers, etc., a different brand for the same products will print out to entice you to buy brand x instead of brand y that you already bought.

    Well, finally called CATALINA and they are mailing me my $5 coupons...it was just a glitch she said, so hopefully the baby cat this week will work. I might try a different store... but mine is soooo close :sad:

    Then it must have been my previous purchases of Gerber and beechnut there....I need baby cereal, so here's hoping that triggers some more CATS

    I'm glad to read that you called Catalina and that they are mailing you your $5 catalina. I didn't even think to mention the numerous glitches that occur on a daily basis (catalina machine offline, out of paper, paper jam, out of ink, bad ink, paper placed in upside down, machine turned off, etc., etc.) and that so many of us miss because we assume the machine is working, just because its green light is on and not blinking. :shrug7:

    I just checked on their site and didn't see the B1G1 coupon either. They have a couple of other promos going, but no coupons. :shrug7:

    I'll make sure to edit this out of this weeks ad post and also put a note into our coupon database to have this coupon info deleted. Thanks for the heads up!

    HEADS UP on the baby deal in case no one has done it yet. The CAT prints as $10 off your next BABY purchase. It does NOT state that in the ad though, so my store let me use it on my grocery purchase, but just wanted to let you know...
