Albertsons (Western) ~ Weekly Ad: Ad Hi-Lites 11/4 - 11/10/09

OK, so I just got back from another Albertsons run and did the promo again. My catalinas did not print!! Here's what I bought

(2) Progresso Broth 32oz - $1.99ea = $3.98
used (2) $0.50/1 Q

(2) Cheerios - $1.88ea = $3.76
used (1) $1.00/2 Q

(2) Betty Crocker Au Gratin - $1.49ea = $2.98
used (2) $0.40/1 Q

(2) Klondike Bars - $2.49ea = $4.98
used (2) $1.00/1 Q

(2) Pillsbury Toaster Strudels - $1.99ea = $3.98
used (2) $1.00/1 Q

(2) Wishbone Salad Dressings - $1.99ea = $3.98
used (2) $0.75/1 Q

(2) Chex Mix - $1.99ea = $3.98
used (2) $0.50/1 Q

(2) Betty Crocker Cookie Mix - $1.99ea = $3.98
used (2) $0.40/1 Q

TOTAL BEFORE Qs = $31.62


I used the coupons I mentioned PLUS the $15 CATALINAS that I got earlier from the GM promo. The catalinas did not print this time so I went to talk to Customer Service. The manager told me it was because of my coupon use. I told her that I was at another Albertsons, used coupons and it printed out just fine. Then she told me it was one offer per customer. SIGH!!!!

What should I do?? Call Catalina??

I am suspecting Wishbone and kipton tea 100 % is the cause of the problem............?

I would call Catalina on Monday morning and let them know that you met the minimum purchase requirement for the promo and that your cats didn't print. They are going to ask you for info on your receipt so that they can pull it up in their system, so make sure to have that on hand when you call. If they can confirm that you bought the right amount of products, then they will mail you your cats.

BTW, even though the ad states "One offer per customer", my stores are the ones that made me aware that the deal can be done multiple times in ONE transaction, or over multiple transactions.

Well it looks like they are starting to report problems with this promo in the Albertsons Northwest Region stores. I wonder what is going on???

I went today and done this and received the $15 in cats. I bought the following:
6 boxes of Betty Crocker Potato Buds @ $1.99 ea.
19 cans of corn and green beans Green Giant @ .67 ea.
3 boxes of Pillsbury Toaster Strudel @ $1.99--Used 3 IP for $1 off 1
My total was 27.64 after the $3 worth of coupons and I received the cats. This is the first time I have done this at a grocery store here in Vegas. I shop CVS all the time for their deals. I had no idea (new at couponing) that they did this at Albertson's. We needed everything I bought, so I am thinking about doing it again before the 10th. Can I use the 3 $5 cats then and get more cats if I say buy the same things?
