There are other stores (I think other Albertson's in different regions even) that when they have the same catalina sales as us here in so cal the deal is based on the shelf not sale price. I've never seen that to be the case here in so cal, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. I would LOVE to see this based on the shelf price.

Has anyone done a purchase yet to determine if it is before or after coupons?

The acme cat lists fruit snacks also - which would be a double dip with the fruit snacks cat.

I went to my Albies here in Summerlin to try it out. I bought for $25 participating GM products, used coupons in the amount $8.95, and the catalina printer spit out the $10 coupon. I had nothing other than the $25 GM products when I checked out.

You are right dirtbikemom2007. The deals do vary by region and although it doesn't always make sense or seem fair to us considering that Acme and most So-Cal Albertsons stores are owned by SuperValu, our regions store deals do go by the sale prices listed.

The last time that we had an overlap like this, the fruit snacks were indeed marked as part of the promo in select stores (mine), while not in others (Phins). :shrug7:

I went to my Albies in So. Cal today and bought $25.3 worth of the GM products then used $8.50 in coupons on those products, I had other things I needed to purchase too so my total after coupons was $42.30. I got the $10 GM cat, the $3 pillsbury cat and a $10 Joint Juice cat (bought 7 and used 2 BOGO coupons plus a free cat I found in the store!).

Hi Phin,
That's what I was thinking why the cat didn't spit out for the deal my friend did a few weeks ago when her total after q's was below the 20.00 requirement.
Now I'm wondering if one of the products she purchased wasn't programmed in the computer to trigger the cat once it hit the 20.00 mark since kori did the deal in Vegas and after q's her total was under the 25.00 mark and she got the cat.
Vegas ad had the same wording on q's as ours so we may be in luck.
