Albertsons GM deal

I just got home from Albertsons. Their GM deal is already working. There also is NO limit on the amount you can buy. Here is what I got....

4- GM Cinn TST Crunch ($3.79ea)
4- GM Kix Cereal ($3.99ea)

8- Hamburger Helper ($2.69-2.99ea)
10- Koolaid (sale 5/$1) ($0.37ea)
4- BC Frosting (sale 2/$4) ($2.79ea)
1- Popcycle thingies (sale- $0.69) ($0.89)
3- Dora toys for BD gift (clearance $1ea)

I spent $57.69 and saved $102.56

Will Albertsons take more than one of the same coupon during one transaction? How many like coupons will they take?

Do most of them take coupons printed from the internet? I had trouble with them at my Albertsons although they reluctantly took them eventually.

My Albertsons takes multiple like coupons (don't know if there is a max because each stores policy varies) and IP's. Due to past/ongoing problems with fraudulent IP coupons, most IP's get scrutinized regardless of the dollar/cent amount.

My question is though, since oceanbreeze said there was no limit, I could get multiple 4 for 10 dollar items (minus the $6) so it would be 4 for 4 dollars?
Example: 4 Cinnamon Toast Crunch
4 Yoplait Fiber ones

If I'm correct, this would be 8 dollars in total? Please let me know!

Whoa! Slow down! I was referring to "like coupon" limits, not the $6 instant saving WYB 4. Since the ad does not clearly state if you can do more than one deal at a time, then you have two choices because YMMV: 1.) test the waters with all 8 items and see if the $6 instant savings comes off twice in a row or 2.) split your purchases into 2 separate transactions.

If you try the first option and it doesn't work after they subtotal your purchased items, then I would suggest that you be prepared to have them void off the extra items and ask them to ring up them up separately. The cashier should not give you any flack about it being one per customer because the ad does not state the $6 instant savings as being one per customer.

Oh and don't forget your coupons because those would further reduce your OOP.

Haha I tend to get ahead of myself with this coupon game, but your suggestions are great I'll try them tomorrow :)

I went this morning. Got some conflicting answers from different employees to my questions.

First I asked a cashier if the GM deal will work multiple times in the same transaction and he had no idea. Then I asked if there is a limit on how many like coupons I can use. He said if I had four boxes of Curves bars, I could use four coupons. I think he was just throwing out a number but I knew then that I could use at least four. I then asked if they take internet coupons. He said, "no, only manufacturer's coupons", which didn't make sense since they are manufacturer's coupons.

So I found a girl stocking some stuff. Asked her and she said the GM deal should work multiple times in one transaction with no problem. She also said that they take internet coupons and that I should give it to the cashier.

So anyways, I bought:

4 6-packs of Fiber One Yogurt (used $1 coupon on each so all were free)
4 boxes Curves granola bars (used 75 cent IP on one, 50 cent coupon on others)

I also got 10 cent credit for my bags. So far all eight items, I paid $1.65, which I'm happy with.

The same cashier said the computer wouldn't take my yogurt coupons since the yogurts were $1 and the coupons were for $1. I thought he meant I couldn't use them and I was going to question it, but he just manually made them go through without me saying anything.

There were also some products with tags for this deal that were not pictured in the ad, such as Caribou Coffee granola bars, Chex cereal, and some others.

I called my local Albertson's store in Ventura, CA and he told me they do accept Internet Printables and no limit on coupons... just 1 coupon per product.

Also, you can get any increment of 4... 4, 8, 12, 16....

I hope to hit this deal later!!

Watch this deal for errors because I bought 12 tagged items in one transaction and only 2 x $6 instant GM Savings came off instead of 3. Interestingly enough, the bag boy chimed in and stated that someone else had had a similar problem this morning already and that the items in question were the Pillsbury Ready to Bake Cookie Doughs. Even with this info, the cashier made me go to C.S. to get my extra $6 back. Such a sad day when your baggers pay more attention to what is going on than the cashiers.

I went to my local store in Costa Mesa, CA this morning. I bought 8 items on the list. The cashier did not understand how the promotion worked and told me I needed to buy 10 items to get the $1 price. Uh, no. Cashier called the manager? over who told be I needed to buy 4 of the same items to get the special price. Uh, no. After they looked at the add they decided I didn't need to buy 4 of the same item and fininshed the transaction.
I bought:
4 Cheerios (used 2 $1 off coupons)
2 Yopliat yo+ (used 2 $1 off coupons)
1 Nature Valley (used 1 $.60 off coupon)
1 Cheerios snack mix (used 1 $.50 off coupon)
My total came to $7.90??!!!
I paid because there was a very annoyed old man behind me in line and I wanted to get out of the way. I took the receipt over to the manager? and pointed out that my total before coupons should have been $8. She apologized and gave the the additional $6 the computer didn't subtract. I'm kind of annoyed that they don't seem to know the promotions in the store, but I can't complain about the sweet deal I just got. :)
