Default Coupon limit?

Hi, does anyone know how many of the same coupon you can use in one transaction at Albertsons? For this General Mills promo starting on the 23rd, I am hoping I can use a few of the exact same coupons, such as two $1 coupons for Yoplait Fiber One yogurt, etc.

Also, is there any problem using coupons printed online at Albertsons?

Thanks.

Jeff

I'd still like to hear if anyone knows about these coupon policies but I did go and try it out.

I only used one of each type of coupon but they were all internet printable coupons.

I bought:

Curves granola bars
Nature Valley granola bars
Yo Plus 4 pack yogurt
Fiber One 6 pack yogurt

Stupidly, I forgot that the prices in the ad aren't effective until tomorrow so both yogurts were 50 cents more than I thought. That was my mistake. Luckily, the GM $6 off thing was already working.

So I handed her my 4 coupons and the conversation went something like this.

Checker: I can't take these.

Me (nicely): Oh, why not?

Checker: These are copies.

Me: No they're not.

Checker: Yes, they are copies.

Me: No, I printed them from the internet.

Checker: Where did you get them?

Me: From the internet.

She finally checked with a manager who I guess said to take them. Two of them scanned but two beeped and she told me those were no good, even though they were for the right products. Finally, she just made them go through. So I got all four things for $1.65.

I don't see their coupon policy on this site anywhere (maybe I'm missing it) and more importantly, I don't see it in their ad. Maybe their policy is not to take internet coupons, which is fine but it should be printed somewhere. It's kind of weird that their website has a link telling you to print out coupons and bring them in to their store and use them. I also find it strange that these checkers who must see hundreds of customers a day, look at internet coupons like they are something I just invented myself. How can they not have people try to use them every day?

Sorry for the long post. Just hoping to get things cleared up and vent a little bit.

Jeff

Hi, Jeff --

Last night I did the General Mills promo for the first time, and also wanted to pick up some 99-cent Skippy peanut butter and 80-cent Powerade Zero using coupons I couldn't use at Ralphs or Vons because they're always out of stock of the Zero variety.

Here's what I got:

1 Skippy Natural Creamy (the ONLY jar of Skippy creamy of any kind left on the shelves)
2 Cheerios Snack Mix (used one insert Q for $0.50 and one Internet Q for $0.60 -- cashier examined the IP but put it through)
6 Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake Cookies (used three $1.00/2 insert Qs, no problem)
6 Powerade Zero (used two $0.75 insert Qs and tried to use four $1.00 insert Qs but the register would only take three of them -- cashier gave me the last one back)

The register took off the full $1.00 on all three of the Powerade coupons it accepted, even though the price of the item was $0.80. So I scored $0.60 in overage there.

The register gave me the $6.00 off twice for the General Mills promotion since I bought eight qualifying items.

I also used the 10%-off key that I got in the mail at the beginning of July (good on after-coupon total on all purchases through July 31).

I was very pleased with the results:

Shelf Price: $40.91
OOP: $4.35
Savings: $36.56 (89.4%)

Don't know if this answers your questions or not, but my conclusion is that, at my Albies, they will accept Internet printables, but no more than three like coupons.

This was at the Albertsons in Riverside/Jurupa Hills area on Limonite Avenue.

Hope this helps.

I've never had an issue using IPs at Albies.

They've always taken multiple same coupons as well. I've used as many as 20 at a time with zero problems (free Taster's Choice sticks from several months back).

My Albies does tend to be very coupon friendly though, normally the cashiers congratulate me. lol.

Hi: I bought 24 boxes of cereal yesterday and used 12 coupons (some expired) no problems. The cashier never blinked an eye. Plus I bought 6 shouts which are $2 EACH and with $1 coupons out it's good for us.
