Albertsons (SouthWest) ~ Other: WAGS Register Rewards Accepted @ Albs!

So today I went shopping with my LO at the Albertson's on Northern and 19th Avenue. We ended up having to return some L'Oreal Makeup as I found out they won't do the BOGO on items marked clearance. :shrug7: Anyways...

I had my money returned less the coupon amounts. So I wanted my 4 $2 Qs back. The cashier had to dig under a few others and I saw a WAGS Holiday $5 Register Reward! She pulled it out and asked it these were printed on a website. I told her that they were from WAGs catalina machine and asked if they were accepted. She was like "Sure, I have a few in here"!!

So it may be YMMV but my Albs has always taken Competitor Qs and apparently (since the WAGs is accross the street) they take their money as well!

Thank you Xythnia for the information about Albi taking the walgreens RR.
I make it a point to hit that store when I am in the area which is often. I don't
have to pay food tax because it is in Phoenix. The store closer to me is in Glendale and I have to pay taxes there. I also shop at the sprouts (no food tax) across the street from Albertson's on Northern and 19th.
I am so excited about using the Wag RR at Albertson's I would rather use them at the store where they are doubling and tripling coupons still this week. I can save more money that way. I was going to go and do the sara lee pie deal at Albertsons today anyway. Yippee !! Thank you again. Debbie

I went this afternoon, used the self check out and asked the clerk if they take the cats from WAGS and she said that Yes they accept coupons from other stores, even the cats!!! I got $5 off my order!

I looked at my Cats and I think they are accepted anywhere they give catas back same system. Just a thought

Bashas told me a few weeks ago that they would not take them b/c they only take GROCERY competitor's coupons. But I never thought of trying Albies. Thanks for posting.

WAGS RR cats can also be used at WalMart. Did it at back to school time and it was wonderful!!!

I know that the MFCs will reimburse any store (as long as it does not say redeemable ONL at) for the cats if redeemed correctly. Although, the Holiday ones would probably hurt them since they were a WAG store coupon and not an actually MFC Q. So they would be taking a total loss on those.
