Wow. Nothing worth getting excited over. I'm going to have to put Albertsons on the back shelf as my cherry picking store again and start shopping somewhere else. Prices on meat, produce and dairy have just gotten way too high there.

Salmon is on sale for $1.99, if it's not out of stock.
    Albertsons bread $1 a loaf
    Bush Beans $1.39
Hunts pasta sauce $.88 with store coupon

News on MSN is Albertsons LLC (217 stores in seven Western and Southern states) is eliminating all self checkouts to have more interaction with customers.

I hope that means they will have more than one register open more often then. Right now they usually only have 1 register open except during the busiest times with Doublers.

I don't think WA is included in the LLC stores, but they said in the article they were going to hire more people. Sounded like Kroger was considering dumping their U-scans too. Google search gives me:
Albertsons, LLC owns and operates a chain of grocery stores and pharmacies in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, and Colorado. It seems to be headquartered in Boise Idaho though. I think the parent company is SuperValu in WA, but I could be wrong.

Of course, the salmon was gone and they won't be getting any more in. Why advertise it on a 7-day sale if the store doesn't have enough to last two days?

I did find printables for Uncle Bens rice, making it $1.25 per box.
On the Kelloggs Rice Krispie deal, watch for peelies for free marshmallows WYB 2 boxes of Krispies.
Hormel lunch meat was $1.79 after store & peelie/manuf (5/8 SS) coupons.
Kraft Veggie Mac 'n Cheese was cheaper after $.75 printable than the regular type with store coupon.
