Thank you for the update! I'll update my bog. That's so sad, I was really hoping that some how they would be stackable because that would have been sweet!

Default Re: Albertson's Quaker deal

In the Fred Meyer monthly coupon book, there is a manufacturer's coupon for $3.00 off of any 5 Quaker products including Cap'n Crunch, Life, Oatmeal Squares, and Quaker Granola Bars. If there are doubles in Sunday's paper, which I've read on another forum there are, one could get 5 items for $1.00. Even without doubles they are .40 a piece. I'm hoping to try it on the Quaker Instant Oatmeal.

Oatmeal Squares were not working right for the promo this morning (might be that only regular is included too). Pancake mix was working (I had $1/1 IPs from a while back - coupons.com I think. For the Oatmeal Squares I used the $1/1 MCs from inside the hot oatmeal boxes from the last Quaker promo.

This is probably a dumb question, but I am an only Albertsons shopper (my husband works for them and would not be happy if I shopped elsewhere) but I would have no problem getting a manufacturer's coupon from somewhere else! Is the Fred Meyer coupon book something I can just pick up at their store to get the $3/5?

Thanks- Em

The booklets are usually located at the entrance to the stores in the directory area, where you can get the extra ads. Some stores never seem to have them and I wonder if they just don't have them at all stores or if they just get wiped out quicker at those stores!

Does anyone know if you can mix and match between the two different prices ($1 items and the $1.40 items)? For example, can I buy 3 granola bars and 2 syrup and still get the discount for buying 5 products? I was told at my store that you can't, but I wanted to double check. Thanks!
