    I am very sad..................
My Albertson's here in WA has never doubled anything over $1.

Same at Safeway I had a catalina print. Same dates
Good to know that this deal is going on beyond this week - esp. with the Bonus Bucks deal. May give more time for those specially marked boxes to get to our area.

Totally OT, but I had to share this with people who would appreciate it. When we went to London, one of the places I really wanted to go was the department store Liberty of London. I'm a big fan of their fabric prints (esp. the Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau). I looked at their website before we went, and everything was really pricey, but there were a couple of really small things I thought I could splurge on. Well, Ha!, when we there, I didn't find any of those small things - well, there were small things, like a little bitty change purse for $50 USD! I finally ended up getting a piece of wrapping paper with one of their prints on it from the candy department, that I'll put in a frame.
Well, fast-forward to today. DH had to stay at the library to finish a paper, so I had time to kill after I picked up DS from school. I hit a couple of thrift stores, and on one of the shelves, I found a fabric photo frame from Liberty of London, in an Art Nouveau fabric. I almost hyperventilated! There was no price tag on it, so they gave it to me for the default picture frame price of 59c! Then -- they give an additional discount if you show your University ID, so my final price was 44 frickin' cents!!! Ha!! I was so excited I could hardly stand it! I know it's not everyone's taste, but I'm really happy.
Workin' hard for the deals in a land of 'sometimes' doubles.

OK this is annoying, almost every item in the $15/$30 deal is $X.X9.
My Cottonelle blinkies from Safeway are $2/1 24 pk.

Has anyone had problems with the 75 cent Green Giant 5lbs potatoes not being in stock? Neither store here has any and they are subbing albies brand. that sucks, I complained and got the green giant gold ones as a sub.

I agree, it just stinks. I was considering using the .79 green giant canned veggies as fillers.

Opted not to go to Albie's this week (too much OOP for me); hanging out at Safeway instead
