I asked about whether doubling five coupons in one transaction was acceptable (some stores are permitting, some are not) and he said that the overlap of the coupons was a marketing error and would not be happening again. In this instance, however, all stores have been notified by corporate to double five coupons in one transaction.
I don't want to be a party-pooper, but unless your store posts that it's OK to use all 5 doublers at one time, we really should just use 2 of the ad doublers OR 3 of the Red Plum doublers per transaction. That is what the fine point says. It may have been a marketing mistake to have the coupons overlap, or maybe not. After all, not everyone gets the Red Plum insert (my local paper doesn't carry it). As long as they say 'per shopping trip' rather than 'per day', we should be able to comply with that. Albertson's can cancel this doubler program at any time if it turns out to be too unprofitable for them. I don't want us to give them an excuse. I know we're all enjoying this too much!!

OK, lecture over - back to our regularly scheduled deal-talking.
