Albertsons (NorthWest) ~ Store Coupon Albies NW - Associate Friends & Family 10% coupon (good 1/17/09 only)

Hey all -

just thought I'd let you know about a new coupon that Albie's is offering. They normally have an associate appreciation day every few months, where associates get an additional 10% off their entire purchase (in combination with the 15% off store brand that we get every day). This time all associates at my store were handed a flier with two coupons we could give to friends/family so that they could get the 10% off as well. Looks just like the 10% off coupon the pharmacy gives out after getting 5 prescriptions.
So if you know anyone that works for Albertsons, you should check with them to see if they have any extra coupons (mine are already spoken for).

Thanks for the information. My favorite cashier gave me her two. I am tightly holding them until Saturday. Can't wait to get some more Milk cat's with this discount. Very cool that you are an employee and a forum member, I would love to go through your line (if you are a cashier, that is)!

I actually work for SavOn (I'm in pharmacy school), and while we do take coupons at the pharmacy register, I would hope that people would choose to go to the front checkout - it would be dreadfully slow if I were to check someone out. I'm OK with the cash register but I've never been formally trained. I wouldn't want to screw somebody's coupons up! (Of course, I'd probably push them all through and then get in trouble later with the bookkeeper

)

The store where I work, though is a great one - we just got #1 for sales in the entire Intermountain West Division. The store manager takes all the extra Sunday papers that no one buys, has checkers clip all the coupons, then posts some of the coupons on the items themselves and gives other coupons to the front checkers to give to customers as they check out. It's a great place to work, even if I'm more associated with the pharmacy than the grocery portion.
