I just realized that my scenerio is not yet a masterpiece. I am spending too much on diapers than is needed for the baby cat. I need to rework it with 2 diapers and 1 $5 pack of wipes and then add $5 more off the $15/30 list, but first I have to put my baby to bed.

3 slimfast shakes = $16.50
8 pasta roni = $10
$5 in meat
1 loaf cheese = $4.99
2 butter = $2.98
2 eggs = $1.98

-3x$1 pampers coupons
-1x$2 slimfast
-1x$3/2 slimfast
-$5 meat pastaroni promo
-2x$1/4 pastaroni
-$6 doublers ($7.00 if my store will let me use 3 doubler qs)
=$50.45
-$10/$50
=$40.45. I will get back the $15/$30 cat, the $5 slimfast cat, and the $5 baby cat. Even if the baby one can only be used on baby products this is a screaming deal.

TheWoman: Just curious on the Slim-Fast shakes you are buying. If you are getting the Optima shakes (6pk, 11oz), there was a Safeway Limitless Super Coupon in the Sunday paper for $4.99 each good thru 1/11/09. That could possibly save you another $1.53 to buy something else you need! If you didn't get one in your paper, I'm pretty sure Safeway generally has the Sunday ads with their other ads in store.

Also, I know you were saying you might want to get 2 packs of diapers & some $5 wipes and then $5 of something else to maximize both deals (the $15/$30 & $5/$25 baby). If you NEED diapers, I think sticking with 3 packs of diapers is the best scenario since after cats & coupons, you'll be paying $4 for 3 packs! Just my 2 cents! :)

Oh yeah! Thanks for the Slimfast tip. I had noticed it yesterday when I was planning a Safeway trip but promptly forgot. So much for my masterpiece. There is sure a lot to keep track of this week.

I need wipes more than I need diapers right now but you can't ever have enough of either, can you?

possibly cheap pantene shampoo-conditioner or styling products with coupons. save 3.00 on 2 shampoo-cond from p&g-buy 10 pantene for 33.34, use 5 3.00 off of 2 for a savings of 15.00....get 15.00 in cats....now I have never doubled so I do not know if a 3.00 coupon will double to 1.00 but that would make them next to nothing...still 3.34 and tax for 10 pantenes-I am there. the pantene stylers the same sorta-buy 9 stylers for 30.00-get 9.00 off 3.00 in doublers =18.00 then get your 15.00 in cats so 3.00 and tax for 9 pantene stylers.....hope I have made sense....

also cheap tag spray..... buy 9 tag sprays for 30.00-use 1.00 off manf coupon for a total of 9.00 off-3.00 doublers if ya will for a total of 18.00-get 15.00 back in cats....now there is a coupon buy 2 tag products get 1 free, but some of my cranky checkers won't let me save money on the ones I am buying with the buy 2 get 1 free.....that would make a little profit I think if you could use both.....can anyone tell me if I can save money on the ones I am buying-could go buy 9 tag sprays, use 6 1.00 offs and get 3 of those 9 for free...totaling 14.04-possibly 3.00 in doubles....for 11.04 plus tax recieve you 15.00 in cats.....what do ya all think????? golly I am excited

People have verified buying $30 (3 jumbo packs) Pampers cruisers and getting $20 catalinas back. Has anyone gotten the same results buying another variety? (the cruisers aren't my favorite variety, but I don't want to risk not getting the catalinas...). TIA!

Hmmm, I didn't notice the baby catalina. What is it? I only use disposable when I go to town and I am getting low, can anyone tell me the deal? TIA
