Albertsons NW: In regards to no longer accepting comp coupons:

The Butte store is no longer accepting comp coupons as of 3/1/09.

Missoula was posted as of 3/14. And they wouldn't let me use the Safeway $10/$50 today, saying they never took those kind of coupons from other stores. Waaaahhh!

ETA: This thread is for posting the notices individual stores have posted in regards to competitor coupons. All along, this policy has been up to store manager discretion (also verified by a conversation I had with the Albies DM in SLC a while back). We have 4 Albies in Missoula, and they have all interpreted this issue differently - one store never took Target printables, for example, and another one had no problem with it. What is a policy at one person's store may a.) not still be a policy tomorrow, and b.) not be the same as the policy at someone else's store. Apparently, Supervalu is changing some of the ways they are doing things, as are many other companies. Expected or not, we can still sympathize with people who are hurting, especially in this economy.

My store in Seattle used to take qs from Walgreens and Rite Aid. No longer. But no problems with qs from other grocery stores.

Western Wash. stores as of today we are still taking comp coupons.... but I did hear that within 3 months we will no longer... will let you all know of the exact date as soon as I find out. Sorry.

I was in Albertson's today and they told me that April 4th is the last day to use them!

Thank you so much for all that albysgirl that is really nice to know all that , I love ALbertsons and hope to still be able to shop there and get great deals and I am never ever mean to a cashier that is just out right wrong and very rude I think .

I went to the Port Orchard, WA Albies yesterday near Tacoma/Seattle. I was told that as of 03/17 they are not taking competitor coupons anymore. FYI.

I was in Bonney Lake Albies today. My cashier said that they had gotten an email, but the manager hadnt decided when they would stop. She thought they would probably gradually phase them out. Still used my Rite aid 5/25 and my RR's though....plus a safeway and freddies Q.
