Anyone have albertsons coupon policy in writting?

It seems that the stores are making their own idividual policy regaurding the acceptance of IP and competors coupons (including drug store coupons). Also as people call corprate, they are getting differnt answers to these questions.
Has anyone gotten a solid answer from corparte in writting?

My local Abies does not take IP, Drug store, or target coupons. I would like something in writting from corprate that counters this.

I don't know if there is an official corporate policy. My Albertsons will take pretty much any competitors qs, including drug stores and even Target IPs. But others in the same area don't. Albertsons may very well be leaving this up to the individual stores/regions.

I have an email that I've carried around for years from corporate.

IP policy is:

For a $ off coupon only, or a free wyb something else. They won't take IPs for outright free items.

In many parts of the country, they only take other competitor coupons and not the targets/WM/TRU type, but some areas still let you do that.

No limit on manufacturer coupons to my knowledge - but you have to have one coupon per item.

YMMV on piggybacking coupons - CS says they leave that up to the individual manager, but that they encourage them to do so to make the customer happy.

I emailed corporate had them send me there policy I carry it with me in my coupon binder!!!

I e-mailed from the Albertsons website. I got this e-mail reply within 24 hours. I suggest you e-mail them to get it and take it with you if you have problems! I added the bolding!

The Albertsons Corporate policy states the following: *Valid coupons are accepted if the customer has purchased the necessary merchandise. *Coupons must be redeemed at the time of purchase of the specific product. Coupons may not be redeemed after the transaction has completed. *Expired coupons are not accepted. *Coupons cannot be converted to cash under any circumstances. Below is a list of all approved coupon types with a description: *Manufacturer Coupons: are coupons issued by the manufacturer containing: “terms of agreement”, face value, expiration date, and verbiage “manufacturer coupon.” Albertsons may issue coupons such as printed ad media coupons, avenu, or Shop n’ Scan coupons that are manufacturer coupons that contain the words “redeemable only at Albertsons.” Most manufacturer coupons have barcodes on them and can be scanned. I have never had a problem using any kind of coupon from any where at my Albertson's they are great to me ..sorry you're having trouble .

I actually have the coupon policy that is from the employee handbook...I can scan and send to you....I does have my store district manager cell phone number in case my coupon club has any problems.

But I will gladly send it to you.
