Albertsons 5/14--5/20 ad *matchups done so far!*

I really want to get these deals, but I have a couple questions:

* The deal $5 off $15, is that before I use coupons or do I need to have $15 after coupons?
* Does Albertson's double coupons?

The $5 off comes off automatically for every $15 worth of participating products that you buy. So the All is $3 each. You buy 5 making it $15 total and the cash register will autmatically make your new total $10 (plus tax). Then you can use any coupons on top of that :)

My Albertsons doesn't double coupons at all. Some places (I think its southern WA and OR) will double if you have the coupon from Safeway. Safeway puts out a "doubler" to double 4 coupons (up to $0.50 each) for each order.

I bought the diet 7 Up 2 liter with a catalina coupon for a free bottle. I got the $1 coupon and it is only good for diet 7 Up (single or multipacks). So I think it is the diet one only triggering it. It printed at the very end.
Tabasco was like 3/$5 (one kind only) so maybe the $1 one was a store specific dollar deal. I'm still getting the Ragu for $1.

The catalina for the 7up printed just after it was scanned. I went thru the self checkout 2 times and once thru the cashier. I won't be back to try this again until Sunday at least. Sorry you didn't get the catalina but it was printing for me.

I'm sorry Superbob0000, the last poster was correct. I just checked my coupon and it does say only good on diet 7-up. I didn't read the coupon since I was only getting the diet 7up anyway. Forgive me? Next time I post I will try to be more accurate. This was the first time I have contributed and I screwed it up...

If anyone has a fred meyer near you, I found they have a Doritos coupon 2 for $3 if you combine that with Albertsons b1g1 you get 4 for $3 or .75 each. My store allows us to use FM coupons with Albies B1G1 sale, but YYMV. I've never had a problem.

i bought the diet 7UP, but since both of the successful posts USED a catalina, and it printed another....maybe you have to use the cat to get a cat....doesnt make since, but maybe ill try again, or maybe its just a WA thing.

Thank you, fellow couponers! I'm a newbie, so I'm only at the stage of copying all of your ideas. Today I went to Albie's for my first run and ended up with the following:

3 jars 28 oz (yes, I messed up on this one, should have gotten the 18 ozer)
2 Ken's dressings
1 2-liter 7-up (was the regular so I didn't get the Cat)
1 2-pak of Aquafresh toothbrushes (plan on going back for more when they restock or going to another store)
5 Wisks (2 50 oz. using the $1.50/off q along with the $5/$15 deal, 3 of the 2x...probably would have been better just sticking with the All, but I got excited)
5 small & mighty All's.

I ended up including tax at $11.26. I was lovin' it. And, the fact that I walked away knowing that I messed up a bit and could have done even better made me giddy for the future.

So, thank you sooooo very much for the amazing help. From the previews of all the diff. stores and inserts, to the match-ups, to the trial and errors, it's a tremendous help to us newbies!

I really have to send a special shout-out to ILv2Shop! We met here, then we got to meet in person today. She was amazing and gave me a ton of inserts to help me get started. She's the reason I was able to do 3/4 of what I did. Thanks!!!
