Good news for Albies shoppers!!!

I know some Albertson's have already been doing this, but I KNOW the Albies in my area doesn't (Seattle)
I just got word from the manager in Burien, that Albertsons will now be accepting Target coupons, AS WELL AS Walgreens & Rite Aid (and other drug stores)
She told me that they're now accepting ALL competitors coupons. YAY!!!!

She said that ALL Albies got the word, and should be doing it. I noticed some of the cashier's aren't up on it, so I'll be double checking ahead of time who knows, but I'm so excited!!!!

Mine is already and has for years.....I just used the Target printable ones tonight :yay......I'm so glad others are catching on!!! WOO HOO!

I'll second that hope for Portland area. I have had a Target coupon rejected previously.

Yeah, I was previously told they don't take Target/wags...thats why I'm so HAPPY!!!!!!!!

That is excellent news - I have been driving across town because only one Albies will take the Target printables. It will sure help my gas tank if I can use the Albies closer to home.

My Albies used to take Walgreen and target without a problem and this week they told me they can't take Walgreens, only "other grocery store" coupons. :(
Do you know if this was a memo from corporate or if there is way to verify it through Albertsons?

Excellent discovery(also reside in Puget Sound region).
About six weeks ago I politely asked the Target Issaquah 98027 Manager about the coupon printing kiosks. She was unaware of them and so together we went to the terminals and she browsed till that option was found.
There they were , coupons at ones fingertips.
I asked if I could use them and she said no, they were only useable in Minnesota at Super Targets.
I respectfully said "Thankyou Ma'am" and exited quietly with that nugget of information.
So oddly enough, Target has created a situation where we shoppers can't use their Q's at their own outlets but may gladly use them at Albertsons.
I'm just sure Target corporate would be just thrilled about this !
