I thought the Bounty Paper towels looks like a good deal with the 12/27 PG for $1/2 at $3.99 total would be $6.98 for 16 rolls (2 - 8 packs), so $0.44 cents each roll!

Hi! I rarely shop Albertson's anymore as I find I get much better deals at Publix. However, this week the Breakstone's cottage cheese doubles are on sale for 88 cents, and there's a $1.00 manufacturer's coupon available for this item. It comes from a booklet I picked up at Publix called Healthy Wallet Happier You. They do go on sale fairly often at Publix for $1.00, but I'd really like to get a few now. Could someone tell me the general practice in this instance? I know basically it's going to be YMMV. Was just wondering if there's a general consensus on whether they will adjust it down to 88 cents or just refuse it alltogether. Thanks!

ETA : There's a nasty little thing about this particular coupon. The wording is : Save $1.00 on one (1) Breakstone's Cottage Doubles &
4-pack Cottage Cheese. The picture on the coupon is only of the 4-pack. Really stupid wording if you ask me. Anyway, I just called Kraft, and asked them if I'm required to buy both or just one or the other. The rep put me on hold to check with a manager and he said it's either/or. In my mind I was screaming...So why didn't you write OR instead of AND???
I asked for a case # incase I have trouble at the store. So this coupon is going to be a real hassle I believe :sad:

In my experience, Albertson's will adjust coupons down to .88 which can sometimes be a hassle depending on the cashier. It's much easier when the coupon value is the same as the sale price.

**A LOT OF TIMES Albertsons has the same catalina deals as Winn Dixie so you MIGHT get a $5 catalina when you buy 5 of the Breakstone Cottage Doubles!!! I did this deal at Winn Dixie 3 times last week when they were on sale for $1 and made $5 each time.

Just a FYI, they are coded for you to buy only one product. When I did it at Winn Dixie it didn't beep at all when I used one coupon for each Cottage Doubles I bought.
