Albertsons (Florida) ~ Question: How many Kraft BBQ did I have to buy....

I went today with 18 coupons for 75 cents off Kraft BBq sauce. It was on sale for $1 so I paid $4.50 and out popped a $3 catalina that said Thank You From Kraft.

Anyone know how many BBQs you have to buy to get that $3 Catalina? I am sure it is WAY LESS than 18 of them LOL

I heard it was buy 5 get $2.50, buy 6 get $3.00.

I bought 4 cases at .25 each after .75 Q! I also rcvd the $3 q, but I am sure this did not help your question :)

Hmmm well I just got more coupons from neighbors and am going to go try it again. I am not sure how many coupons I have... I think I have 8 so I will let you all know if I get it.

Ok I just got back... bought 10 and got the catalina (paid $2.50 after coupons and got $3 back WHOO HOOO)

If it was buy 6 get $3 back I would have broken up the transactions but I had NO idea :hectic1:

I only have 2 more of these MFQ so I'll settle for just paying .50 cents for two bottles lol

I did this today in two transactions -

Bought six and got $2.50 Catalina back

Next transaction bought 12 - only got a $3.00 Catalina back - so I'm not sure just what the Catalina deal was at this point . . . . .

double check your receipt 5 should = $2.50
from other stores lists-
6 or more = $3 OYNO Cat.
I did 2 transaction of 6 each and received the $3 OYNO each time.

What has happened to me in the past several times at Albertsons is that sometimes the register doesn't detect an item you buy and thinks you bought one less.

For example... last year I was doing the powerades where you bought 6 and got a $3 catalina... I did about 100 of them in groups of 6. Some times it gave me the $3 and sometimes it gave me a $2 (which was for 4 or 5). A few weeks ago during the mustard deal, it printed a $1 catalina for every 2 mustards you bought. I got about 50 during the week. It missed 1 on 2 occasions when I bought them in large groups (that deal you actually got $1 for every 2 and it didn't matter if you did it in 1 transaction or seperate)

So maybe the regsiter thought you only bought 5 instead of 6. I would go back and have them rering it with 6 and see what happens.
