Albertsons FL 5/6 - 5/12

Not a big Albertson's shopper, but I did notice the Johnson and Johnson first aid products are listed at 40% off. Wondering if this would be a good deal with the $3.00 off 2 blinkies. Anyone know some of the original prices or can check them out? I know their retail on this kind of stuff is usually way higher than elsewhere. Also, how do the coupons work there if let's say 2 items come to less than $3.00? Does it beep and then they adjust the coupon down? Will they give you trouble on the adjusting down? Looks like it could be messy if they have to figure out amounts since it's on two items. Or does it work like Walgreens where it will take off the full amount of all the coupons until you get to the end, and then it will stop taking them because there is no more from that company to match up to? Thanks for any help.

Yep, I got a bunch of those and am HOPING for a sale since the others are going to expire. My local store has in-store sales on them often, maybe I can talk the manager into having one before those coupons expire LOL

The blinkies I have don't expire until 8-30-09. These are new ones that are out right now in Publix. Just picked up a few more today while I was shopping there.

ok i was looking in the ad and i need help interpeting the haagen daz ice cream.

on the picture it looks like a small pint carton but the print says "cups" for 10/10.00.

does anyone know if the "cups" they are talking about OR cartons? Yesterday when I was in there getting free breyers I saw that they had both.

If the coupon is for an amount greater than the price, at BOTH of my Albertson's, it will beep. The cashier has to price adjust it down to the price of the item or it won't go thru. At one store, they will do this. At the other, CS says no, won't allow a coupon to be adjusted down or used if it is worth more than the price of the item. YMMV Granted, CS is very friendly and has even given me the name of the Director and practically begged me to contact him and complain about this policy. CS said Director is mandating not accepting coupons over price of item and not allowing adjusting down of coupon value. I have not contacted him yet.

The large 4 or 4.5 oz Hershey's bars are $1.25 this week and there was a $1 off coupon in the 4/19 Smart Source insert for the dark chocolate.

There are several items that are priced below $1.50 (cheapest I saw was $1.19) so you could get overage if your store allows that or just some free stuff if your store adjusts down your coupon.
